APFA - Australian Plastic Fabricators Association The Australian Plastic Fabricators Association was founded in Melbourne in 1982. The Association represents manufacturers and suppliers to the stationery, manufacturing and packaging industry. The Australian Plastic Fabricators Association is a national organisation with international affiliation. The aim of the association is to represent a group of like minded companies and act as one for the growth and protection of our industry. The Australian Plastic Fabricators Association (APFA) has joined the ACASPA. Following a presentation by Russell Brown at the APFA Annual General Meeting in Queensland about ACASPA's benefits a decison was reached by APFA to come under the ACASPA umbrella and for each APFA Member to become individual members.
ARE - Association for Retail Environments Founded in 1956 and based in Hollywood, Fla., A.R.E. has stood for quality and professionalism for 50 years. A.R.E. members are proven industry leaders — companies that are well known for excellent craftsmanship, topflight service, and cutting-edge innovation. Member companies offer a full range of products and services for retail environments, and include store fixture suppliers, retail design firms, suppliers of visual merchandising products, and suppliers of materials and equipment for the retail environments industry. Member capabilities extend beyond fixture manufacturing to include importing, exporting, consolidating, installing, project management, engineering, design, and more.
ASGA - Australian Sign and Graphics Association For over forty years, the Australian Sign and Graphics Association has been the representative body for the sign industry in Australia, and as such, plays an active role as a forum for the exchange of ideas, the development of training in the craft, and the dissemination of information and guidance to its many members. It covers the whole spectrum of sign-makers: neon, LED, illuminated, handcrafted, technology, construction and design... in fact, signage in all its varieties. The Association has built an enviable reputation and trust with many government departments and other statutory organisations and local authorities, and acts as the official channel of communication between the industry and these bodies on matters of commercial, technical or economic policies affecting the sign industry. In encouraging the highest standards from its members, The ASGA believes its policy of quality and commitment to the customer is not only in the best interests of its members, but also provides a safeguard for their clients. For many years the Association has represented the industry, assisting with apprenticeship administration, approval of training establishments, training standards to enable apprenticeship training to continue under the direction whereby the students are well received by the industry. The Association provides members with continued support and technical information by way of: Monthly Email newsletters The "eNews", The Visual Impact Magazine, Image Magazine, regular meetings, conferences and trade exhibitions and workshops,fostering and promoting the Letterheads movement and many other activities in Australia. The ASGA members and their clients are offered a nationwide professional sign service that is guaranteed, so that corporate clients can be assured of a high standard of craftsmanship throughout the country.
BSGA - British Sign and Graphics Association The British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA), and its forerunner organisations, has been representing the interests of sign makers and other businesses associated with the sign industry in the UK since 1918. Today, members include every type and size of sign business, from craftsman signwriters through companies that manufacture architectural and illuminated signage to those that specialise in the production of vinyl signage, vehicle liveries and digitally produced signs. The Association also represents a number of other sign related business sectors including sign installers, sign designers, consultants and businesses that manufacture and distribute products, materials and equipment used in sign making. The Association has three principal objectives: * 1. To support, represent and lobby on behalf of the members. * 2. To encourage and promote the highest quality standards in both workmanship and customer service. * 3. To promote the services and gain recognition for member companies, who have agreed to abide by the BSGA Code of Practice, with sign buyers and sign specifiers. The BSGA is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to guarding the interests and providing services to whole sign industry in Great Britain.
DSA - Digital Signage Association The purpose of the Digital Signage Association (DSA) is to accelerate the growth and advance the excellence of digital signage deployments worldwide. Simply put, we want to help those deploying digital signage solutions be as successful as possible. The Association is built on three pillars: advocacy, education and networking. DSA welcomes users of digital signage in all vertical markets – retail, financial services, hospitality and travel, entertainment, human resources, health care, government and others. We also welcome manufacturers, resellers and distributors of digital signage hardware and software as well as network operators, integrators, advertising agencies, consultants, analysts, publishers, tradeshow organizers and service companies.
EDPA - Exhibit Designers + Producers Ass'n The Exhibit Designers and Producers Association (EDPA), founded in 1954, is an internationally recognized national trade association with more than 400 corporate members from 18 countries that are engaged in the design, manufacture, transport, installation and service of displays and exhibits primarily for the exhibition and event industry. Its purpose is to provide education, leadership and networking for the advancement of its members and the exhibition industry. In addition to providing regional industry education programs through its six chapters, EDPA organizes one annual meeting, tradeshow and golf tournament in a resort location for industry members and their suppliers. EDPA holds quarterly board meetings, publishes a printed quarterly newsletter, monthly electronic newsletter and membership directory. EDPA also hosts several industry awards, educational surveys and supports the EDPA Foundation.
EPDA - European Plastics Distributors Association Established in 1975, the European Plastics Distributors Association (EPDA) is comprised of companies engaged in the distribution and manufacture of plastic sheet, rod, tube, pipe, valves, fittings, film and related products, and whose goal is to establish a leadership role within the plastics industry.EPDA members manufacture and distribute plastic-oriented products: plastic semis and/or plastic pipe, valves and fittings. These products come in a wide range of shapes, colours, forms and materials. The main shapes include sheets, blocks, rods, profiles, tubes, pipes, valves and fittings. The successful integration of these materials into the marketplace is a common concern among the members of EPDA. EPDA members maintain large inventories, and most offer sophisticated cutting services and stock auxiliary products, such as welding equipment and cements or plastic fittings and valves. It is not only the immediate availability of a large variety of plastic semis that characterises the activities of the members of EPDA. The day-to-day contact with the major players in the industry provides EPDA members with access to the most up-to-date information. This detailed and thorough knowledge of materials and their applications is available to fellow members and to all fabricators, whatever the activity.
FPA - Flexible Packaging Association The Flexible Packaging Association is one of the leading trade associations for converters of flexible packaging and suppliers to the industry. IAPD - International Association of Plastics Distribution The International Association of Plastics Distribution represents firms and individuals who have joined together with common goals. MAPP - Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors Established in 1997, The Manufacturer's Association for Plastics Processors, Inc. (MAPP) is the largest grassroots organization in the United States plastics industry, serving nearly 190 member companies representing more than 35,000 employees. As a national non-profit Trade Association for plastics manufacturers, MAPP provides its Members with access to the most powerful networking in the industry. MAPP is driven by a Board of Director's made up of owners and presidents of leading plastics companies. Having over 1,200 industry professionals involved in the organization provides a variety of channels to expedite solutions and build momentum for continued growth and development in areas that will positively impact the plastics industry.
NASSD - National Association of Sign Supply Distributors NASSD is a not-for-profit trade association for organizations who are engaged in full-line sign supply distribution and who manufacture or supply commercial, neon and electrical sign products. The mission of NASSD is to promote full-line sign supply distribution to the sign industry: By educating and informing its membership on issues of importance to both the industry and wholesale distribution By providing a forum for interaction and education between and among sign supply distributors and sign product manufacturers; and, By increasing the level of communication and professionalism of its members and the industry.
PAC - Packaging Association of Canada THE PACKAGING ASSOCIATION OF CANADA is a membership organization often referred to as the voice of the packaging industry. POPAI - Point of Purchase Advertising International Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI) is the only global, not-for-profit, trade association exclusively dedicated to serving the interests of all those involved in retail marketing. POPAI has 20 national offices covering 45 countries and more than 1,700 members worldwide. The organisation works to establish and maintain excellence in all aspects of retail marketing communications, raise standards of business practices and provide its membership with information to ensure its continued position as a vital part of the marketing mix. SAC-ACE - Sign Association of Canada Since 1955 the Sign Association of Canada has successfully promoted the welfare of the sign industry, improved the status of its members in the community, and benefited the users of signs. However the traditional boundaries of the sign industry have expanded due to the rapidly changing level of technology and the evolution of the commercial marketplace. The Sign Association of Canada has recognized these trends and has advanced to partner with related industries and sectors who use, design, and manufacture commercial images. SPI - Society of the Plastics Industry Founded in 1937, SPI is the plastics industry trade association representing the third largest manufacturing industry in the United States. SPI's member companies represent the entire plastics industry supply chain, including processors, machinery and equipment manufacturers and raw materials suppliers. The U.S. plastics industry employs 1.1 million workers and provides nearly $379 billion in annual shipments. USSC - United States Sign Council Since its founding in 1972, originally as the Eastern States Sign Council, the United States Sign Council has been dedicated to providing an educational resource for the sign industry, and is now the largest association of independent sign shops in the world. In fulfilling its educational mandate, USSC conducts seminars and training workshops through its program of continuing education seminars, trade shows, and exhibits of new sign technology, publishes technical and professional manuals, and provides members and nonmembers alike with current information concerning industry trends, products and practices. Membership in the United States Sign Council is open to any person or firm concerned with the advancement of the sign industry, particularly as such advancement impacts professional growth, positive public perception, and ongoing educational and training programs.
